TIGRON actuators from AUMA meet the stringent requirements of the global oil and gas industry. TIGRON actuators are ATEX, and IECEx certified for gas groups IIC, which includes highly flammable hydrogen. Other approvals will come later. The actuators withstand the harshest environmental conditions, with a temperature range ranging from –65 °C to +75 °C. IP68 enclosure protection and AUMA's ultra-durable powder coating effectively protect against tropical downpours, ocean spray, and desert sandstorms.
The controls can be mounted separately, up to 100 m away from the actuator, for installation in difficult-to-reach areas or where vibration is a problem. TIGRON actuators will be available in SIL versions as well.
